Jean M. Grosklaus
JEAN M. GROSKLAUS: Presently serves as Administrative Assistant and Board Member for the West Allis Retirees’ Association which is comprised of approximately 325 retirees from all departments of the City of West Allis. Jean publishes the monthly Newsletter and maintains the roster. She also assists Dick Kratz and John Maydak with maintaining the mailing list for the WCOA’s annual meeting.
Retired from the City of West Allis, where she was administrative assistant to the Department of Development which oversees the Divisions of Economic Development, Planning, Community Development and Housing, Jean enjoyed a position that was dynamic, versatile and challenging. Prior to working for the City of West Allis, she enjoyed careers in nursing and in real estate.
Jean says that she and her wonderful husband, Wayne, are proud parents of a daughter and a son, both of whom are married and have blessed them with four (soon to be five) cherished grandchildren.
Jean and Wayne especially enjoy their lake home where, as neighboring families, they met. They now share this special retreat with their children and grandchildren and, next door, with Jean’s siblings and their families. Family and friend time, church activities, travel, gardening and reading, as well as the West Allis Retirees’ Association, keep Jean active in her busy retirement.
